21. check main gear forward door retraction system for general

      alignment & worn bearings.

22. check all wheel well area flex hoses for general condition,

       routing & deterioration.

                            
23. check all gear actuators for general condition & leaks.                 

24. check all wheel well area limit switches & wires for general

       condition.

   
25. check squat switch for security & general condition.    
26. lubricate all gear as required (refer fig. 5).    

27. check all shock strut oleos for general condition & leaks.

       (nose pressure 300 psi)  (mains pressure 125 psi).

   

28. remove wheels, inspect for general condition, cracks, corrosion,

       check bearings, races, clean & repack.

   
29. check tires for general condition, wear, cuts & other defects.    
30. check brake discs for general condition, wear or warping.    
31. check brake linings for general condition & wear.    
32. check brake wheel calipers for general condition & leaks.    
33. check all tire pressure (45 psi) & safety of all axle nuts.    
34. service hydraulic power pack with fluid (1/4" above add line).    
35. service hydraulic accumulator with nitrogen (650 psi).    

36. note: if installed, check nitrogen operated emergency gear

      extension system.*

                   *check actuator cylinders for general condition.

                   *check system for leaks by turning valve to "on" position

                      & observe steady pressure reading on gauge.

                   *check "flight manual" for system supplement.

                   *test system using procedure outlined in supplement.

   
37. remove aircraft from jacks, wash & clean as needed.    

miscellaneous group

   
1. check "experimental" displayed in cockpit (2" ht. letters).    
2. check for airworthiness & registration certificates in aircraft.    
3. check for flight manual in aircraft.    
4. check current weight & balance forms in flight manual.    
5. check all placards. (ref. pom, limitations section)    

6. check logbook entries & sign-offs,  all ad's & sb's checked.

fuel system

   
1. check fuel tank & sump drains for contaminants.    
2. check all fuel vents for security & obstructions.    
3. check fuel lines for security, chafing & leakage.    
4. check fuel tanks & caps for leakage, security & placards.    
5. check fuel boost pump for proper operation, leaks & security.    
6. check fuel selector valve for operation & leakage.    
7. clean fuel gascolator bowl & screen.
