                         2008 Airventure Cup Cross Country Results

Five SX300's raced and performed well in this year's 500 mile Airventure Cup Cross Country Race.  Harry Hinckley in N301E finished second with an average ground speed of an incredible 315.79 MPH, (272.23 knots).  Since he actually had to fly about 5 miles out of his way to avoid a cell along the course, his actual speed for the real distance flown was closer to 320 MPH or 278 knots!!
